My name is Ileana Hernandez, 26 yrs old, I was born in Dominican republic raised in Puerto Rico & united states with my aunt, my mother was a hair dresser and my aunt is a fashion designer, it was only second nature for me to take interest in beauty & fashion industry. I learn & began sewing on my own at the age of nine . I started my professional carrier at age of nineteen.
In 2001 I created my company and my first line in 2003 I aggressively exposed my line in various clubs, venues & shows filling up the house with hundreds of people, my line was introduce to many influential people & gaining on expectable recognition. With the unconditional support of my husband & the representation of my models I have had great success.

In 2005 we established our web site www.illwear.com which is generating business far and wide, I have been recognized in several publications such as: black men magazine,ssx mag,urban ink,woman's ilustrated,stuff at night mag, best designer of the ready to wear collection 2005, Black man's mag first swimwear fashion show,miami parties online mag,fashion ledge,mami mag,Fridays mag, point mag, providence in spanol, metropolitan women of new England mag, Local network channels,music videos etc.

I’ve designed for miss RI Latina pageant, contestants and winner, Dominican republic fest contestants,miss new york winner06,miss usa contestants also several well known local models.
I aspire to be a well known designer and make it to the ultimate, designing for all men and women world wide. From the Rich & famous to the working class and anyone in between. My club wear line consist of blouses, pants, tee shirts & dresses from formal (gowns)to casual (denim). My bathing suit collection is bold, bright, buckled, twisted, tied & hip/trendy. Creating from Brazilian cuts to boy shorts etc.
With unique, sexy, cheek, & glamorous cuts and colors, an urban flavor, Savoy style & quality fabrics. I stay in true to my comfortable, practical, stylish yet affordable motto. when designing I always create timeless pieces for the smart, sexy, outgoing, independent flirtatious woman of today. With my Latin decent & flare, my abilities are unlimited and my work ethics is fierce.
